Well, it's nearly that time again- time to wander between the various, sketchy bars and venues in Hamtramck to catch your favorite punk, indie, and weirdo bands doing what they do best over the course of the first weekend in March. This will be the 14th (damn) year in which every hipcat in Detroit and her outlying suburbs mashes together in hot, sweaty bars to consume what mashes us together in the first place- DIY music and fun.
This year, we perform at Baker's Streetcar (which I've never been to) on Saturday night at 1 a.m. (Loco Gnosis showcase)
This year I'm making it a priority to see Conspiracy of Owls, Deastro, and Legendary Creatures (which shares a member with Macrame Tiger).
I'm readying my cast-iron gut to consume superhuman amounts of cocktails. Let there be rock and roll.
